History

The BAPS (Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha) Mandir in Nagpur was built between 2010-2017. The traditional mandir incorporates the haveli architecture style of Gujarat. Artisans and volunteers from India and abroad came together to construct this stunning piece of religious architecture using ancient techniques. From the carved stones to the timber supports, each element blends together harmoniously.

The mandir complex spreads over 11 acres of land. The temple, dining area, assembly hall and other buildings provide over 1 lac sq ft of space for devotees to pray, relax and find community.
